Canon EOS M50 - Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STMThanks to the rise in the price of cryptos, in addition to having Power UP 20,000 HIVE in the past few months, I've gifted myself a new toy 😁 It's a Canon EOS M6 Mark II which will come to join my Canon EOS M50 and will be in charge of 4K video recording (using my Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens) while the M50 will be dedicated to photography with the addition of a Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD which should arrive soon.
Grâce à la hausse du prix des cryptos, en plus d'avoir Power UP 20 000 HIVE ces derniers mois, je me suis offert un nouveau jouet 😁 Il s'agit d'un Canon EOS M6 Mark II qui viendra tenir companie à mon Canon EOS M50 et sera en charge de la vidéo 4K (avec mon objectif Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary) tandis que le M50 sera lui dédié à la photo avec l'ajout d'un Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD qui ne devrait plus tarder a arriver.
OnePlus Nord smartphoneAs soon as my new Canon arrived, I wanted to test it in different environments in video mounted on my Zhiyun Weebill Lab stabilizer. Since we were close to the end of the day I thought that a little trip to Boat Lagoon next to our home could be nice. Moreover, a new Japanese restaurant the NOZOMI Sushi & Izakaya, has just opened there which will also allow us to taste its menu.
Dès que mon nouveau Canon est arrivé, j'ai voulu le tester dans différentes situations en vidéo monté sur mon stabilisateur Zhiyun Weebill Lab. Vu que nous étions proche de la fin de journée, je me suis dit qu'un petit tour à Boat Lagoon à côté de chez nous pourrais être sympa. En plus le NOZOMI Sushi & Izakaya vient tout juste d'y ouvrir ses portes ce qui permettra aussi de le tester.

Canon EOS M50 - Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STMIt was almost 6pm and the sun 🌞 was not far from going down, offering a very nice coloring and nice shadow.
The place is really nice, usually pleasure boaters from all over the world spend a few days there (which is not so much the case now given the circumstances), giving the opportunity to see beautiful boats. A very good place to chill, have a nice dinner or enjoy one of the many events taking place there (festival, race...)
Il était presque 18 heures et le soleil 🌞 commençait à préparer son replis stratégique pour la nuit.
L'endroit est vraiment sympa, habituellement des plaisanciers de tous pays y passent quelques jours (ce qui n'est pas trop le cas en ce moment), donnant l'occasion de voir de magnifiques bateaux. Un très bon endroit pour chiller, se faire un resto sympa ou profiter d'un des nombreux évènements s'y déroulant (festival, course...)
After a relaxing walk to admire the boats and the place (It was surprising to see the place so quiet), we headed to the Japanese restaurant. Some people I won't name started to get hungry (okay, that was me 🤣 ).
Après s'être baladé tranquillement à admirer les bateaux et l'endroit nous primes la direction du restaurant japonais. Certaines personnes dont je tairais le nom commençant a avoir faim (bon Ok c'était moi)

A peine la porte du restaurant passé que nous nous sommes retrouvé au Japon comme par magie.

Canon EOS M6 Mark II - Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN ContemporarySeriously, this little restaurant (which has a 100% Japanese atmosphere) serves a fish that is a delight and that literally melts in your mouth. The skewers are also succulent! All this of course with a good and fresh ASAHI beer.
Ce petit restaurant en plus d'avoir une ambiance vraiment japonaise sert du poisson qui est un régale et qui fond dans la bouche. Les brochettes elles aussi sont succulentes! Le tout bien évidemment accompagné d'une bonne bière ASAHI.

A notre sortie du restaurant la nuit était déjà tombé et c'est tranquillement avec l'estomac bien remplis que nous avons fait notre dernière balade avant de rentrer.

The images coming from the Canon M50 are holding quite well considering it's an older system. Paired with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens, I must say, the images look nice. Oh, and those Canon colors. 👍👍🙌
