Lights, camera, action – our documentary with NAVILIT is rolling!

We’re currently working on a documentary film together with NAVILIT, and it's been an incredibly rewarding journey so far. Real stories, real people, and a whole lot of creative problem-solving.

Every film project is a learning experience, and here are a few insights we’ve picked up along the way:

🎯 Know your “why” – Before anything else, be clear on what story you’re telling and why it matters. That focus guides every decision, big or small.
📚 Research is your best friend – Especially in documentaries, understanding your topic inside out helps you ask better questions and capture deeper moments.
🎥 Plan for spontaneity – Sounds like a contradiction, but it’s true. Some of the best scenes happen unexpectedly – build space in your schedule to follow them.
🧩 Organize like a pro – From shoot schedules to file naming, being organized makes post-production so much smoother. Future you will thank you.
🌍 Connect with your subjects – A good interview doesn’t come from great gear, it comes from trust. Take time to build real connections.
🙌 Keep the team in sync – Regular check-ins, shared goals, and mutual respect keep the energy up – especially on long shooting days.
