The recent Floral Joy Around Town — Hong Kong Flower Show, brought joy, beauty, and uplifts spirit of those who welcome the spring season. The Victoria Park was transformed into a Floral Kingdom with different creative landscape displays adorned with colorful flowers in full bloom. There were different floral houses in this show adorned with beautiful flowers and plants. Imagine walking down the street lined with floral houses. It is such a picturesque scene, and fragrance of different blooming flowers lingers in the air.
Two of the houses that caught my attention were the pretty desert house and the cute candy house.
The candy house is like in a confectionary wonderland. Its walls and roof crafted from ginger bread with side posts from candy sticks.
There's a giant treasure chest full of delightful candies! Popsicles are placed in the garden along with beautiful flowers. There are giant cakes for everyone to enjoy! Cute yellow bear and green koala seems to be guarding the candy house. I was hoping to see Winnie the Pooh upon seeing the giant honey pot, but he wasn't around. Kids were enjoying those delightful views.
Meanwhile, there's a party at the desert house. I call it a desert house as the setting resembles those in a Western desert place. The garden has cactuses in different sizes and other flowering plants, and cute little cowboys welcoming the visitors.
Your heart will be filled with sense of childlike wonders and delightful experience as you walk throughout the floral towns in this flower show. Naturally, the flower is beautiful, and organizing something with flowers makes things beautiful. I wish I could visit there. Unfortunately, I am not so lucky to visit here.
