I finally managed to sit down and share these photos I made of two friends on Halloween. It took me forever to post them—first because I was buried under a ton of work, and just when I thought I could finally breathe, I ended up getting sick with the darn chikungunya virus 🤒. Basically, I spent about a month somewhere between chaos and bed. There was no way I could sit down and write something halfway decent.
For the session, we knew we wanted it to be portraits. From there, we started selecting themes. The makeup was handled by Jessica (the one in the clown portrait) until we landed on these four looks. By now, you probably know from other times you’ve read me that I love this style of editing, so this was the perfect opportunity to play with my imagination again.
That day we laughed so much throughout the whole process.
Sometimes you get so caught up in everything else that you forget how beautiful it is to pause and look back on what you experienced. And these photos… I don’t know, they remind me that even when life gets crazy, there are still moments to laugh and have a good time with friends.
Here it is, finally.🙌
