Después de mucho tiempo sin usar la cámara por fin me animé a abrir la pequeña vieja mochila, cagar una de las baterias y salir con ella. La semana pasada fue la esxcusa perfecta para volver a tomar fotos por pasión casi después de un año.

Mi casa, en ocasiones suele ser un lugar oscuro y poco agradable para pasar las tardes y mañanas, junto a mi novia solemos salir para tomar algo de sol,aire y luz y meterle color a la cosa. El sábado pasado a la luz de la tarde Montevideo lucía como nunca. Siempre viene bien una de estas tardes en donde el clima nos regala un día lejos del frío deprimente y nos hace olvidar todo por unas horas para cerrar el día con un atardecer de pintura (algo muy típico de Montevideo) que si me preguntan, es una ciudad que siempre va a tener puestas de sol épicas.

After a long time without using the camera I finally got the courage to open the little old backpack, dump one of the batteries and go out with it. Last week was the perfect excuse to go back to taking pictures for passion almost after a year.

My house, sometimes a dark and unpleasant place to spend the evenings and mornings, together with my girlfriend we usually go out to get some sun, air and light and add some color to things. Last Saturday in the afternoon light Montevideo looked like never before. It always comes in handy one of these afternoons where the weather gives us a day away from the depressing cold and makes us forget everything for a few hours to close the day with a painting sunset (something very typical of Montevideo) that if you ask me, is a city that will always have epic sunsets.

El último año me mantuve alejado de Hive por estar enfócando toda mi energia a otras actividades y proyectos. Luego de cansarme y de descubrir que la escritura y la creación de contenido que me apasione en realidad es una prioridad, estoy de vuelta.

Por su puesto que se hace extraño, escribo una palabra, borro todo y siento que no tiene sentido. Entendí a ver esto de forma diferente y por eso me hace feliz estar aquí compartiendo fotos. No Se trata de un solo post o publicación sino de una historia y de algo que en realidad amo. Cuando puedo comprender ello puedo volver sin problemas a escribir más fluidamente, solo dejandome llevar por las palabras y dejando que todo pueda salir sin presión.

Last year I stayed away from Hive because I was focusing all my energy on other activities and projects. After getting tired and discovering that writing and creating content that I'm passionate about is actually a priority, I'm back.

Of course it's strange, I write a word, delete everything and feel like it doesn't make sense. I understood to see this differently and that's why I'm happy to be here sharing photos. It's not about a single post or publication but about a story and something I really love. When I can understand that I can go back to writing more fluidly, just letting myself go with the words and letting it all come out without pressure.

Estas fotos son sencillas pero me encantan porque demuestran la sencillez y belleza de Montevideo. Estoy también feliz por esta compartiendo series de fotos nuevamente y espero que esto solo sea el comienzo. Hace un par de horas he comprado un par de entradas para ver Drive my car en la cinemateca nacional así que espero mostrarte un poco más de la ciudad en mi próximo post.

These photos are simple but I love them because they show the simplicity and beauty of Montevideo. I am also happy to be sharing series of photos again and I hope this is just the beginning. A couple of hours ago I bought a couple of tickets to see Drive my car at the national cinemateca so I hope to show you a bit more of the city in my next post.
