Project Unseen; photos they thought they'd never see.

A very weird post title if I say so myself but please read on to find out why.

While I haven't been called out on the internet yet, my friends haven't failed to directly call me out on my failure to deliver photos I create of them. While I hold my right to decide what to do with the photographs I create of them, they are within their right to ask about their photos. Especially because I'm the person that always instigates the shoot, and then promises to edit them in no time. But I usually fail to do so.

Most of them are already tired of asking about their photos and have given up. In their minds, they'll never see those photos again. I'm a big case though, because I fail to understand why I still haven't edited photos from 2021. Well, things are about to change for them this week. Fortunately, I kind of have free periods this week, and I decided that I was going to dedicate my time to editing photos of my friends that I had shot a long time ago. I have packaged this act as a project titled "UNSEEN". The subtext "photos they thought they'd never see" speaks directly to my friends. I'm sure they'll be pleased when they wake up to photos they had forgotten about. I also hope to get back into their good book 😁.

To kick off my campaign, I started with photos of Debbie. Debbie is a very close friend and model(almost all my female friends are models). She stops by the studio occasionally and whenever she does, trust me to always indulge her in a photoshoot. For this one, I had to send her back home to come up with outfits we could shoot. It was necessary we did a shoot that day because we were emotionally downcast from the results of the presidential election. We needed to do something to cheer our spirits. She went home and brought some outfits and we created these;

We created these photos in March. So it's not so long ago, but it's great that it's out now. As I explained in my previous post, these delays often become beneficial because of the wealth of knowledge and experience I'm able to gather during the period of delay. That was also applicable in this case. I had since wanted to edit these photos, but everything I tried didn't seem to work out. I tried again yesterday, and I had the mood I was going for; soft, and cinematic.

I'm about to surprise another friend tomorrow. This one's actually from a very recent shoot, but I told to her to expect the photos in 2025. So she's not expecting anything from me soon. I'm sure it'll be a good surprise.

Let me know in the comments section what you think of these photos of Debbie.

Beautiful photo session 🙌

Thank you very much

I understand why your friend decided to trust you to take the pictures, it's amazing what you can do, I congratulate you, and I loved how the session was very clean and natural to my perspective, I loved it <3

Thanks for the kind comment. I'm glad you loved the photos

They are unique and beautiful portraits, both the beauty of the model and the perfect composition of the photographs.

Debbie is such a beautiful model, and as such beautiful portraits are expected. Thanks for the kind comment

A clean work. Well done. It doesn't matter when you finish it, it does matter the result.

Exactly! The result always justifies the delay. The delay is always worth it.
