SINGLE FRAME JOURNEYS #1 - PAINTED IN SILENCE

SINGLE FRAME JOURNEYS – a new photo series begins

A single image can tell you an entire story...a fleeting moment...a hidden emotion....a detail easily missed by the eye but not by the heart.

That is why I would like to start a new series on my blog:
SINGLE FRAME JOURNEYS – because sometimes one frame can take you further than a thousand steps.

Each post in this series will focus on just one photograph.
One shot that means something to me. One scene I couldn’t walk away from. One frame that tells a story.

So come along. Let’s discover the world, one frame at a time.

Today I’m starting this new series with a photo of a lake I had chance to visit in France.
It was one of those quiet evenings, when you just want to take a walk and clear your head. Nothing special.
I was feeling a bit nostalgic that day. A little lonely maybe.
So I grabbed my camera and went for a walk by the lake. There was no one around — just silence, calm water and the soft sound of my own steps.

And then the sky slowly started to change.
The colors turned warmer, the trees became shadows and everything around me felt like it stopped for a moment. The sunset wasn’t really dramatic — it was soft, peaceful, colorfull.....

The surface of the lake reflected the sky like a perfect mirror.
I stood there for a while, not thinking about anything, just looking and wondering the beautifull sunset.....
