Yesterday, I witnessed what you'd call a solemn-magical moment. The solemn part, I had planned for, but the magical... unexpected.
I happen to attend the wake of a choir member who passed away a few months ago. His funeral will be coming up tomorrow, Wednesday, so the church held a wake for him yesterday's evening, as tradition demands.
Inside, the church held that particular weight. Solemn mass. Hymns sung low. The readings and sermon, all reminded us of how ephemeral this life is - today one is here, the next day, they're gone - to the great beyond.
We stood, we sat, we prayed. Grief has its own gravity, and for an hour, we all moved inside it - in that kind of quietness that comes with final goodbyes. Then the mass ended, and everyone began to move out, carrying their grief with them.
I joined, oblivious that the world outside has changed color.
Outside, I noticed that everything looked dipped in warmth, like a light had poured over them - the ground, rooftops, trees, the people... everything under the sky.
Hello @luchyl. I'm stopping by to let you know, you're muted in this community. You have been asked not to post low quality photos, but it seems I was not clear. You disregarded my request and posted these horrible photos again. Your journey ends here.
If you consider these photos good enough, you clearly have no place in this community. I'm not saying this to hurt you, but if you can't see how blurry the photos are, that you can barely see anything, then better look for another community. Good luck.
You can capture anything with a mobile phone, obviously camera quality counts a lot as well, but you chose to zoom in, focus on the sun exclusively and ignore the rest.
There are sunsets everywhere in the wold, I see sunset every single day, nothing new.
Anyway, I'm not here to preach or teach. Not my job. Too bad you can't see what I mean.
Anyway, have a nice day.
Yeah, that's the very definition of tunnel vision.
Anyway, I said everything I had to say.
Happy blogging.
This post is one of the most well written posts anyone would come across this week. The imagery you have created with words before attaching these magical photos is exactly brilliant. I'm amazed by nature and your ability to capture it in its finest state. Great job!

Yes nature often reminds us, that no matter what is happening, she is always there, stunning us with her beauty luchyl!
Great picture to reflect . That pictures somewhat sent us this message that everything here on earth has an end and no one would last .
Oooooh, @luchyl, this picture is so touchy. Maybe the sky, the evening sun set and the humans were together sending farewell messages to this departed soul. May his soul rest in peace
This sun set is very exceptional, the colour of the sky too.
People are dying too much this year, let's intensify our prayers oooooh.
Yes.. oooooh, my sister, life is good 👍.
