Legends are told in every country or individual settlement. In Bulgaria, we have many well-established folklore images and mythical creatures, but one character is my favorite - Samodiva! There are many legends about witnesses seeing samodives on Bulgarian lands. Real people have been absent for a while and then returned to the same places without remembering their absence.
WHAT ESSENCE IS SAMODIVA?
Historians explain this character as an image of a beautiful young woman. Most often, their hair was blond. In the summer they lived in dense forests, near rivers or wells. When the weather became cold, they went to a place called the Samodivsko Kingdom.

Two days ago, while browsing my Instagram, I saw the heroine in this story. I was impressed by her interesting clean face and mysterious aura. I immediately associated her with the samodives. I wrote asking to take these photos, and she immediately agreed... Very cool! Yesterday we met for the first time. We drove to this cool river. We changed two white dresses / I kept an authentic diva look /. It turned out some really great shots, despite the terrible light. Terrible, because if you have photographed in a dense forest, you know in cloudy weather what a thick shadow results. You have to be very careful with the color temperature of the device.
