Hello people! So, yesterday we were in Bosnia, Republika Srpska. Near town Srebrenica there is a village called Podravanje, where my father was born and my grandfather. There was a reason why we were there, and not a good one. 30 years ago, 24. September 1992. happened something really bad, Podravanje was under attack by the Muslim forces. That year, 1992., was war in Republika Srpska.
Yesterday was a remembrance day of the fallen soldiers and brave people who stud up for their village and family. That was my first time that I've been there. We also went to see my grandfathers home that was burned and mined by the Muslim forces, you can see in some photos just ruins of that scary day.
There is also one photo of a boot of a fallen soldier...
What I was told there is only 10 people that are living in this village, that really brakes my heart what happened that year. This village is full of bears, foxes, wolves and wild pigs.
One funny story that my cousin said to me happened few days ago. While he and his father was cleaning their old house, they saw mother bear and her child, little bear was on apple tree and tried to break it so they can eat apples. :D And that happened in their backyard... :D
