Hello world! π
Here in Romania is already Monday afteroon. I am on my way back home from a little weekend getaway spent on a resort in heart of the mountains. π
(I'll be back with more photos on that) π
This destination is six hours drive, which is why I had plenty of time to take some pictures along the way. I never get bored spending a long time in the car (and not driving) because there's always something to do like readind, writing posts on my blog, replying to comments, make plans, have little chats with friends, playing chess on my phone AND taking pictures!
Yes, taking pictures is my favorite thing to do when we drive long distances. I love to surprise on my camera cool views, beautiful landscapes and sometimes interesting things too.
(I just saw one car being literally into a fence but it was to late to take pictures π±)
Sunrises and sunsets are my favorites to photograph but this time didnt have the opportunity.
BUT look what a WONDERFUL RAINBOW I've got to see !! Too Lovely! π

Not so far away, I saw another one.
Two rainbows is definitely better than one!
Next time on the list are a few photos taken while passing by some villages and small towns in Transylvania area.

This is the road we followed, passing near Sibiu and Brasov. I'm sure many of you heard about these two big cities in my country, especialy Brasov which is known for Dracula and Bran Castle π°
This Snowy Scenary was somwthing to photograph while approaching our destination in Covasna County, at Balvanyos Resort.
The more we'd appoach into the forest, the landcape would change completely.

I think this last batch of photos are my favorites, besides the one with the raimbow.
I love the Carpathian Mountains view a lot! Its so nice to drive with this view! π
The road is quite relaxing with this landscape! π
I took all the photos with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I adjusted some of the photos, added a bit of brightness to some or a warm filter to others. Some I made them B&W. I dont know much editing photos. π

You've seen a bit of every season during your drive, haha. In Sibiu we faced today a really rare and spectacular phenomenon known as Cloud Rainbow from what I heard.
Wowwwwww! Never saw something like this before. It looks interesting and quite unique πβ₯οΈ
It was the first time for me too, definitely a unique ocassion! :D
Well, there were a lot of rainbows that day in that specific area. I think we were one hour drive away from Sibiu when I photographed these. Plus, when we was right paralel with Sibiu on the highway it was 50 km wind. Actually a small pebble got into our parbriz and made a spider....crush :)))) Nice! Nice feeling when coming back from a little getaway weekend. we brought home a little souvenir =)))

We got ro-alerts on the phones that day with wind going up to 90km/h in the area where I was living. It was insane! We've seen a few roofs and billboards falling like leaves. Really hard to face weather conditions sometimes!

That's great to see some snow! In Arad, it's quite warm now, around 13-14 degrees. It almost feels like spring

Oh, what beautiful photos! A beautifully gathered diversity! A few are excellent, to my taste, but I don't know now how to point them out. Perhaps they should be numbered?

Maybe the numerotation is a good option. I feel I added too many photos, and some are not my best. But for one reason or another, eventually I considered to add them as well. π

Beautiful rainbow images, it's clearly visible amidst the cloudy sky. I prefer capturing anything that catches my attention while I'm on a journey, it makes for a good reference in my memory after the moment has passed.

Every time I read a post with pictures of cold winter I envy you guys π down here its always between 25 - 35c, most of the time hot and humid, everything looks so much prettier on cold winter with snow, although I know its a lot of work too go from one season to another with all the clothe change and work to be done around the house
Wowww. Having such temperatures all the time sounds something to get tired of. Or maybe u got used to it.
Well, for us who have been borned in a zone with all the four seasons, its just normal all the changes that happens around that.
I actually feel really blessed to feel all the four seasons. I love every season with all its changes it brings with, especially the clothing changes and updates π€£π€£π
I like the photos. Romania is so close and I still haven't explored it. I have to do it!π The houses and buildings remind me of the northern part of my country. Greetings from Serbia! π

Yes I agree with you, Romania has a lot to offer, you just have to be prepared to discover it.
Romania has no shortage of mega-touristy places, but in addition to these, lately I've been trying to look for lesser-known but beautiful places.
Now it's up to everyone what they want, we don't all have the same tastes and one very important thing is to respect what surrounds us.

Ohhh really? I feel so sorry for you guys π thats the same with triplug's wife.
I cant imagine being like this, especially around young children. My son was so demanding in his first years (while being in the car), I did everything possible in that car around that kid.
I do this and many more in the car, on the passanger's seat. Time is flying too fast for me. However, long distances ne and husband have endless talks, listening to music together or podcasts. Or if Caleb is with us, then I am also doing my mom role, entertaining him when not playing with his stuff.
