Enchanted Valley Trail - Trilha do Vale Encantado

Is everyone okay?

Last Sunday I was invited to visit Vale Encantado. A private reserve area in the vicinity of Natal, where the transparent waters of the Taborda River flows and an açaí agroforestry is cultivated on its bank. To get there, it took 40 minutes by car and another 30 minutes by trail through the riverside forest. The walk is super light and because it is in the middle of the forest, the temperature is pleasant, remembering that here in the region the average temperature at this time of year is above 30°C.

Throughout the walk we were filming and photographing, interacting with the landscape. Wesley played the role of model and helped me create good images of this tour. When we arrive at Vale Encantado, we stop in the middle of the Açaí agroforestry, a typical fruit of the region widely used in cooking and well known for the Açaí cream with Granola.

The photographs in the midst of the trees, using the texture of the trunks with the late afternoon light, pleased me a lot.

Then we arrive at the edge of the River Taborda, where there is a small beach, maintained by the owners, where it is possible to take refreshing baths. And that's exactly what we did, we took advantage of the remaining minutes of sun to stay in the water before returning.

At the end of the tour, we chatted with the owners and agreed that we would return soon to camp for at least one day and enjoy everything the property has to offer, such as boat rides, stand up paddle and kayaking along the river, as well as getting to know the extraction of açaí and physical activities spread over the land.

Olá meus queridos amigos,
Estão todos bem?

No ultimo domingo fui convidado a visitar o Vale Encantado. Uma área de reserva privada nas adjacências de Natal, onde corre o Rio Taborda de águas transparentes e na sua margem é cultivada uma agrofloresta de açaí. Para chegar até lá foram 40 minutos de carro e mais 30 minutos de trilha em meio a mata ciliar do rio. A caminhada é super leve e por ser em meio a mata a temperatura fica agradável, lembrando que aqui na região a temperatura média nesta época do ano passa dos 30°C.

Durante toda a caminhada fomos filmando e fotografando, interagindo com a paisagem. Wesley encarnou o papel de modelo e me ajudou a criar boas imagens desse passeio. Quando chegamos ao Vale Encantado, paramos no meio da agrofloresta de Açaí, fruta típica da região muito utilizada na culinária e muito conhecida pelo creme de Açaí com Granola.

As fotografias em meio as arvores, utilizando da textura dos troncos com a luz do final de tarde me agradaram muito.

Em seguida chegamos até a beira do Rio Taborda, onde há uma pequena praia, mantida pelos proprietários, onde é possível tomar banhos refrescantes. E foi justamente o que fizemos, aproveitamos os minutos restantes de sol para ficar na água antes de retornar.

Ao final do passeio ficamos conversando com os proprietários e combinamos que voltaremos em breve para ficarmos acampados por pelo menos um dia e aproveitar tudo que a propriedade tem a oferecer, como passeios de barco, stand up paddle e caiaque pelo rio, bem como conhecer a extração do açaí e atividades físicas espalhadas pelo terreno.
