¡Hola!, queridos amigos de Hive y de esta hermosa comunidad a la que me presento hoy. Mi nombre es Camilo Noa, soy un poeta cubano al que la fotografía ha cautivado de muchas maneras, pero la principal, creo, es la de poder realizar poesía a través de la imagen.

Hello, dear friends of Hive and this beautiful community that I am introducing myself to today. My name is Camilo Noa, I am a Cuban poet who has been captivated by photography in many ways, but the main one, I think, is being able to make poetry through images.

Mi cámara y yo venimos de la ciudad de Holguín, al noroeste de Cuba y, aunque ahora me encuentro viviendo en la capital, la hermosa Ciudad de La Habana, he decidido comenzar mi camino en Photography Lovers con una serie de instantáneas de mi ciudad holguinera.

My camera and I come from the city of Holguín, in the northwest of Cuba and, although I now find myself living in the capital, the beautiful city of Havana, I have decided to start my path in Photography Lovers with a series of snapshots of my city of Holguín.

Pero primero les presento mi cámara, Sonia (así la hemos apodado cariñosamente mi novia y yo), es una Sony Alpha 100 con una lente 28-210 mm que pude comprar en un remate hace algunos años. Hoy no es la gran cámara, lo sé y también sé que el tamaño del lente me limita mucho (no he podido comprar otro a falta de dinero), pero aun así ella es de las mejores alegrías que ha llegado a nuestras vidas. Espero que ustedes también sepan apreciar de su trabajo.

But first I present to you my camera, Sonia (that's what my girlfriend and I have affectionately nicknamed her), it's a Sony Alpha 100 with a 28-210mm lens that I was able to buy at an auction a few years ago. Today it is not the great camera, I know it and I also know that the size of the lens limits me a lot (I have not been able to buy another one due to lack of money), but even so it is one of the best joys that has come into our lives.
