Lakes, rivers, waterfalls and glaciers are a constant in Patagonia.
At every step we take we find one of them.
Today I want to talk about a series of waterfalls (actually there are three) on the route of the 7
Lakes to which I referred in these posts in this same Community of Photography Lovers.
It is a family outing, with little difficulty, ideal for those who want to make a stopover on Route 40 (Camino de los Siete Lagos), between San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura.
In passing, it is an ideal walk for those who travel Route 40 and an opportunity to get to know the North Patagonian Andean forest.
The excursion departures are all registered in the Villarino park rangers section (there are always some especially foreign tourists who get lost and they have to go out to look for them).
The path takes us upstream (you have to cross a stream with quite cold waters, of glacial origin) until we reach the waterfalls, leaving the river always to one side until you begin to feel the dull sound of the water that hits when falling the jumps.
There are also many trout for those who like to fish.
And a beach around 70 meters wide.
The curtain of water falls from a height of about 10 meters and 40 meters wide.
Los lagos, rios, cascadas y glaciares son una constante en la Patagonia.
A cada paso que hacemos nos encontramos uno de ellos.
Hoy les quiero hablar de una serie de cascadas (en realidad son tres) en la ruta de los 7 Lagos a la cual hice referencia en estos posts en esta misma Comunidad de Photography Lovers.
Es un paseo familiar, con poca dificultad ideal para aquellos que quieran hacer una escala en la Ruta 40 (Camino de los Siete Lagos), entre San Martín de los Andes y Villa La Angostura.
De paso es un paseo ideal para realizarlo a pie para quienes transitan la Ruta 40 y una oportunidad para conocer el bosque andino norpatagónico.
Las salidas de excursión quedan todas registradas en la seccional de guardaparques Villarino (siempre hay algún turista especialmente extranjero que se extravía y hay qye salir a buscarlo).
El sendero nos lleva aguas arriba (hay que atravesar un arroyo con aguas bastante frías, de origen glacial) hasta llegar a las cascadas, dejando el río siempre a un costado hasta que se comienza a sentir el rumor sordo del agua que golpea al caer de los saltos.
Hay también muchas truchas para aquellos a los cuales les gusta la pesca.
Y un playa de alrededor de 70 mts de ancho.
La cortina de agua cae desde una altura de unos 10 metros y 40 metros de ancho.
