A Collection Of My Bird Photography #16

Good Morning photography world and Hive Family, today's bird feature is the Male Western Bluebird and I finally got some decent shot's of this guy. It's not such an easy task, for this is one bird that doesn't sit still and I must mention it also gets spooked real easy when I try to walk up to get closer. So it's more a bird that when you find it, sit hopefully in a spot that you've seen it and hope that you get your chance. I tried this and finally I have some good shot's to show, not the best but still nice nonetheless. Hope you all enjoy these one's for it took me some time to get them and overall I enjoy them. Just another bird that's now in my collection of birds but trust me given the chance I will get more and hopefully better than these. The only way is to keep getting better and better, if I can, I will keep trying.

What can I say about these, well the the adult male has the best, bright blue on top and on the throat with the breast orange and on the sides but to me they are brown, another disagreeing moment for me with the bird world. At least they say it has a brownish patch on back, as well as a gray belly. The adult female has an all around duller look and with a gray throat, a dull orange breast, and a gray belly. Both has short tails and also a short black beak, as for the baby birds have duller colors than the adults, and have spots on their chest and back but I'm sure theirs so many variations to them all. Their back tails also are covert tails and extended is always a cool look. They do have a calling and it consists of the mating songs, they sound like a "cheer," "chur-chur," and "chup." This is what helps the males find a female mate and these males do this so they can tell the other males that this is my territory and you better know that. I would say this is definitely one of my favorites, I really enjoy color to birds and I hope to get better shot's one day. Anyways enjoy my shot's of the day, hope to see you back soon.

Now for my favorite and the shot that I shall make the cover be, would have to be this one. For me I feel like its the best of them all. The feathers on the chest pop pretty well, considering I'm not a pro and my equipment is older. I had some others from another location from awhile back, the color's are nice but I'm just not happy with them due to the fact I was pretty far away and just way to much noise in them.

I wish this one had some more pop to it but is a favorite due to the fact I love them little feet, the angle is just right but I only got this shot at this direction, due to me trying to walk closer and I scared him to the next tree.

Love this one too, and it was a close call on the cover shot but the top one I feel is better but I do need my glasses too, you be the judge. haha

IMG_3225.jpg

Not sure if this is the same bird, it looks like it is and the color is awesome at this angle but for me not enough crispness in the feathers.

Pretty good shot and angle for this one too.

For the last one just another pose of this Western Bluebird and not such a bad one at all.

I found two more shot's from another location actually, this one right here was the best one out of the ones where he was eating a caterpillar.

IMG_1847.jpg

This one probably the best in color of the back feathers but I'm not a fan of the shot being on the ground, otherwise this would for sure be the Cover Shot.

Beautiful shots, I can imagine how difficult it is to get them. In my country I tried to photograph some birds and the truth is that I have always failed.

Thank you, yeah it is for sure but my motto is to just keep shooting as many shot's as I can and eventually you get a few you like. Appreciate the kind words and thank for stopping by.
