Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are new shot's of a new species Blue-naped Mousebird that I captured at the Zoo. Now this is a treat, I absolutely love the look of this bird right here and I have four shots from my first trip to the Zoo for you all today. I will have more later down the road that will be from my second trip there but that will be awhile til I get to those edits. I am now sitting on about eight terabytes of RAW images waiting to be gone through and edited. That is going to take a lot of time but all good, one folder at a time and as long as I have them, that means I got many more posts to do through the years. As you know I will amass a lot more, for to shoot is more fun and I keep going more than I edit. When I looked up what the name of this bird was I had no idea it was a dove, so kind of cool looking dove if you ask me. Unfortunately all the shots I have their long tail cut off in the frame, I didn't think about that while taking these shots, so on the future one, I am sure I didn't mess up but regardless, new species and some cool detailed shots to view in the mean time. Also the location of this bird is in the lowland forests of Central Africa, so again kind of cool to get a bird that I would probably never get in my lifetime if it wasn't for the Zoo. Lets get to the shots, for the first, the cover shot my favorite of them all and for one reason, the way its looking towards me and the detail on the feathers on top of the head gives you a good view of them versus you don't really see how cool those head feathers are when hes looking away with the side view of the camera. Now for the second shot below another good quality shot here with another direction it is looking, so you get to see all sides with this post.

Now this shot here, the third one, I only wish the cover shot was like this, it was shaking off and I captured this moment. I really wanted this one to be the cover but I just like the head direction way better in the cover but the way you get to see all these highlights of the feathers on the entire bird is a pretty cool treat in my opinion.

Now the last shot here is similar to the second one but I assure you it is a different image and I only had four I like when editing, most of them were sent to the trash can, no quality or details. Four shots are better than three on this post, the more the better right. Plus like I said I will have more later on down the road. Anyways, thanks for you all stopping by my blog and post, hope you enjoyed this one and to all have a blessed one, keep them cameras clicking and getting them images you love.
