Absolutely, it is really inspiring.

At least for me, interactions with marine life like that with the whale shark, and many others I've had with all sorts of creatures like various species of sea turtles, other (more feared) shark species, seals in diving in the uk, and just playing with the clown fish as they dance among the stingers of anemone, it fills me with joy.

I can't really express fully how at peace it mashes me feel.

I've snorkelled a few times and seen some cool things, especially on the Barrier Reef. Not so keen on being anywhere near sharks of the pointy teeth varieties.

Yeah, that's pretty much how everyone feels other than scuba divers. People generally think they're mental for seeking out shark encounters, but the truth is that sharks almost never attack humans beneath the water of you act in a certain way.

But they do attack snorkelers and surfers basically because they're ambush predators. Plus they often mistake surfers and snorkelers for their natural prey.
