We have a similar pond near our house but your images make all the difference :). I was just wondering why American and British dictionaries use different letters for the same words.
I have set my language as American English to avoid this confusion. My medium was also British English during my college days.

Americans have shortened everything, you can write whatever you want but they don't mind. Yes old habits die hard! :)
