Taking advantage of a beautiful spring day by hiking is never a bad time! Especially went it's on a fairly short trail that has 4 waterfalls!
Sydenham trail starts at Sydenham Rd. in Dundas Ont. and you are immediately greeted by lower Sydenham falls under a train bridge.
Then after a short uphill walk on the trail you reach Middle Sydenham Falls. A 20 foot tall Washboard Curtain Cascade waterfall.
Then almost directly beside the Middle Sydenham falls (maybe 200 feet away) is Lafarge Falls. A 49 foot tall Ribbon waterfall. I have never seen this waterfall with heavy flow, you have to come during a rain storm to see that.
After leaving Lafarge, you come around a bend and instantly see Upper Sydenham falls. A 45 foot tall Complex Ribbon waterfall.
It is a beautiful hike for anyone who wants some adventure and beauty, but doesn't want to hike for hours to achieve that!
