📷 Four unique Perspectives of San Franciso’s Landmarks [EN/DE]

For these four shots it was my idea to show the street life of San Francisco in combination with famous landmarks. Each of the shots shows a different highlight of the west coast metropolis. I shot them all during an afternoon walk. In post-processing, I decided to go for a look with high contrasts but heavily faded blacks.

Für diese vier Aufnahmen war es meine Idee, das Straßenleben von San Francisco in Kombination mit berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu zeigen. Jeder der Aufnahmen zeigt dabei ein anderes Highlight der Westküsten-Metropole. Ich schoss sie alle während eines Nachmittagsspaziergangs. In der Nachbearbeitung entschied ich mich dann für einen Look mit hohen Kontrasten, aber stark verblassten Schwarztönen.

In the first shot you can see San Francisco Bay with the famous prison island of Alcatraz in the background.

In der ersten Aufnahme könnt ihr die Bucht von San Francisco mit der berühmten Gefängnisinsel Alcatraz im Hintergrund sehen.

The second photo shows Lombard Street. In the foreground you can see a curve of its winding part, while in the upper right corner there is one of the most popular viewpoints of the city - Coit Tower.

Die zweite Aufnahme zeigt die Lombard Street. Im Vordergrund kann man eine Kurve ihres gewundenen Teils erkennen, während sich rechts oben einer der beliebtesten Aussichtspunkte der Stadt - der Coit Tower - befindet.

In the third picture you can see the unique Transamerica Pyramid as the central subject in the middle.

Im dritten Bild sieht man die einzigartige Transamerica Pyramid als zentrales Motiv in der Mitte.

It is sometimes confused with the Golden Gate Bridge, but the fourth image shows the no less impressive Bay Bridge as it is illuminated by the evening sun while looking through one of the streets of Chinatown.

Sie wird manchmal mit der Golden Gate Bridge verwechselt, doch die vierte Aufnahme zeigt die kaum weniger beeindruckende Bay Bridge, wie sie beim Blick durch eine der Straßen von Chinatown von der Abendsonne angestrahlt wird.
