This was again just an awesome flight, I wished I had a wingman with me to enjoy it. Its my favorite lake in Alberta (Gull Lake) since I grew up in that area and pretty much lived at the lake as a kid.
The flying here is awesome since there its such a shallow lake, the crown land is all around it, some nice beach areas, and very little houses near the water since the lake basin is so shallow.
Just look at this, a 2 hr flight about 75km around the lake with so many spots, beaches, docks and just open grassy banks around the lake.
Its one of my favorite places to fly.
Another lake/marsh north of he main lake, but a great spot for some nice aerial photos as well!
Endless eye candy and wilderness here to take in. This at one of the main beaches / campgrounds.
And some docks and boat ramps here, of course people waving up at me from below.
