En esta linda ocasión, quiero compartir con ustedes unas bellísimas fotos que tomé desde el tercer piso de la gobernación del estado donde vivo. Me tocó hacer servicio comunitario allí, y la oficina que me asignaron es bastante bonita y tiene una vista espectacular de toda la ciudad. Espero que les guste.
My first day of work was basically a tour of the building to get to my office. The only thing I don't like is that I work on the third floor, so I have to climb a lot of stairs since the elevators are out of order. I love that the office has such a large window; it's so fresh, and the view is simply breathtaking.I believe that one of the best ways to cope with work and life stress is to contemplate these kinds of views, which we can find anywhere in our lives, simply by paying attention to the small things that enrich our existence and being grateful for them, obviously.
El primer día de trabajo fue, básicamente, un recorrido por el edificio hasta llegar al lugar donde estará mi oficina. Lo único que no me gusta es que trabajo en el tercer piso, por lo que tengo que subir muchas escaleras, ya que los ascensores están dañados. Me encanta que la oficina tenga una ventana tan amplia, ya que entra el aire y la vista me dejó simplemente impresionada.Creo que una de las mejores maneras de compartir el estrés laboral y de la vida misma es contemplar este tipo de vistas, que podemos encontrar en cualquier parte de nuestras vidas, simplemente prestando atención a las pequeñas cosas que engrandecen nuestra existencia y agradeciendo por ellas, obviamente.
Located in a fairly central area of the city, the building offers a sweeping view of Maracay. From there, one can see nearby barracks, schools, other buildings, and, most notably, the magnificent Sindoni Tower, an invaluable landmark of Maracay's business heritage and history. Additionally, it's possible to see areas such as Palo Negro, the Sucre Air Base, and a portion of Lake Valencia.It's a completely new experience, and I'm very grateful to be doing my community service at the governor's office. You learn so much, and the staff have been incredibly kind and patient with me. Plus, the entire complex offers absolutely incredible views. From the 6th and 7th floors, you can literally see the whole city and its surroundings, with crystal-clear views that show every detail. If you know the area well, it will be much easier to recognize different parts of the city.
El edificio, al encontrarse en una zona bastante céntrica de la ciudad, ofrece una vista amplia de toda Maracay. Desde allí se pueden observar los cuarteles cercanos, algunas escuelas, otros edificios, y específicamente la grandiosa Torre Sindoni, un patrimonio empresarial invaluable de Maracay y su historia. Además, es posible contemplar zonas como Palo Negro, la Base Sucre y una parte del Lago de Valencia.Es una experiencia completamente nueva y estoy muy agradecida de realizar el servicio comunitario en el departamento de la gobernación. Uno aprende mucho y las licenciadas han sido personas muy amables y pacientes conmigo. Además, todo el complejo en general ofrece vistas absolutamente increíbles. Desde los pisos 6 y 7 se puede ver literalmente toda la ciudad y sus alrededores, con una visión nítida que detalla cada cosa. Si conoces bien la zona, te resultará mucho más fácil reconocer los sectores de la ciudad.
For me, this is one of the few times I have such incredible views, as I'm not a fan of buildings taller than two stories. However, this office is quite lovely, as well as being very large and spacious. Unfortunately, it doesn't have air conditioning, but I'm comforted by the large window and the pleasant breeze that always comes in the mornings. Beyond that, the expansive view the office offers is very comforting, since my official start time is 7:00 a.m., but I always arrive at 6:40. Sometimes it's already quite light, and I can see the sunrise even better.
Para mí, es una de las pocas ocasiones en que tengo vistas tan increíbles, ya que no soy fanática de los edificios de más de dos pisos de altura. Sin embargo, esta oficina es bastante linda, además de ser muy amplia y espaciosa. Lamentablemente, no tiene aire acondicionado, pero me consuela la gran ventana y que por las mañanas siempre hay bastante brisa. Más allá de esto, la vista tan amplia que ofrece la oficina es reconfortante, ya que mi hora de entrada es a las 7 de la mañana, pero siempre llego a las 6:40. A veces está medio claro y puedo ver mejor el amanecer.
