The artist vs The art

More than a month ago I snapped this beautifully IR shot of a small tree growing up on a cliff in my hometown of Brasov. The way that tree grew in between those rocks in what I can only imagine were horrible conditions inspired me to create. It showed strength, power of will, and a strong desire to make it no matter what.
That particular photo was the starting point of my ongoing NFT collection on Opensea called My artistic journal . A place for me to put down the miscellaneous shots I take while learning and exploring new artistic outlets. While striving to be as resilient and powerful as that single tree on top of the cliff.

Now that the winter is over I decided to lace up and go up the mountain to see if I can reach that cliff and be sure I did it!. It was a lovely morning hike and when I reached the top I was so happy to see that I still had cell reception so I could call home and ask my mom to grab the telephoto lens and snap a picture of me on top of it. Do I have enough resolution for me to be represented by more than 10 pixels in that photo? Heck no! But what matters the most is the journey and the symbolism of me being able to stand tall there like the tree in my photo. It brought me a lot of joy and I cant wait to return to that spot and fly my drone around.

In the end, I could not resist the temptation and took another photo that aims to show how this tree looks over the entire city down in the valley a shot that I plan to retake in the summer with an IR camera.
