For some time now I have been commenting on different changes that occur in my life, as is to be expected with each new stage where the available time is affected, changes to different activities arrive, in the case of Risisng Star I was changing strategy and at the moment I am alternating more between music lessons than between missions.

At the same time I acquired new activities, the most visible being my dedication to pixel art, whose practices in the form of pixelated versions I have been sharing for several posts now, the rest of the activities have to do with chores at home and the place where I live. Returning to pixel art, I usually show pixelated versions of some cards, which may have some type of memory associated with them or something that the imagination creates when making the design.

Several attempts

Like any skill, pixel art requires practice, being constant and trying new forms taking into account very simple bases to learn, the most significant difficulty will be marked by the size of the canvas, and I can account for this in my other posts where I explain the difficulties according to the image I take as a reference. Today R338 Lola had a transition session to the pixelated version. of the most noticeable things that can be seen on the card are the colors, clothing and pose.

The clothing may seem simple, but as I mentioned in another post, part of the magic of pixel art lies in knowing how to place the lights and shadows correctly, which is complicated in some images that have few colors in their composition. Additionally, canvas size limits the amount of detail that can be added. It is precisely these 2 points that gave me the most headache when writing Lola's card, in the end, I achieved part of the magic...and not for lack of trying...or what do you think?

After different tests, possible changes in the layout to give greater shape to the design and bring it as close as possible to the original card, sometimes I even forgot to place the RS missions because I was so focused on the design and the changes to be made. 😆
I still have a lot to advance, although Lola was not able to show off completely, I think the final design fulfills its purpose, also with the change in attitude Lola becomes a little more mysterious, something that is more in tune with the clothing she wears, don't you think?
