James was born in Miami. His parents were Cuban exiles who fled the island by raft in search of the American dream. His mother was a prostitute and his father a drunken gambler.

James suffered many hardships as a child. In addition, she witnessed many situations of violence in her own home. His father would get drunk and beat his mother.

James' happiest day was when his father died of cirrhosis.

His mother died of AIDS when James was 21.

James suffered so much in his childhood and adolescence that he was scarred for life.

At school he was an exemplary student. He studied a lot, it was his escape from his daily life problems.

As ​​a teenager, to earn some money he mowed the lawn and dedicated himself to everything related to gardening.

He bought a guitar and began to learn to play it thanks to the help of a friend.

After his mother's death, James felt empty and wanted a new life. He spent his free time composing songs.

He began psychological treatment but quickly abandoned it.

Every day he felt more lost. He found peace playing the guitar.

He decided to change his life; he felt like he was going down the wrong path. He wanted to explore the world.

He bought a nice motorcycle and decided to travel the roads of the United States with it, earning money playing his guitar. He would just stand in a spot, find a place to sit, and start playing guitar singing his own songs so that at the end of the performance people would give him whatever money they wanted. By doing that he managed to survive.

He stayed in seedy hotels to bathe and ate what he could. He only cared about playing his songs and clearing his mind.

He didn't want to start a family. He had sex occasionally.

One ​​day he had the bad luck to come across a couple of criminals who stole his motorcycle and guitar. He was shot during the robbery.

James hit rock bottom. He realized that he had to start a new life again. He returned to Miami to live in what had been his mother's house.

He began working as a music teacher at a school and gave private lessons after work. Over the years he got married but had no children.

En la adolescencia para ganar algo de dinero podaba el cesped y se dedicaba a todo lo relacionado con la jardinería.

Se compro una guitarra y comenzó a aprender a tocarla gracias a la ayuda de un amigo.

Después de la muerte de su madre James se sentía vacío, quería una nueva vida. El tiempo libre lo dedicaba a componer canciones.

Comenzó un tratamiento psicologico pero lo abandonó rápidamente.

Cada día se sentía más perdido. Encontraba paz tocando la guitarra.

Decidió cambiar su vida, sentía que estaba llendo por mal camino. Quería explorar el mundo.

Se compro una linda moto y decidió recorrer las carreteras de EEUU con ella ganando dinero tocando con su guitarra. Simplemente paraba en un lugar, buscaba donde sentarse y empezaba a tocar la guitarra cantando sus propias canciones para que al final de la presentación las personas le dieran el dinero que quisieran. Haciendo eso lograba sobrevivir.

Se hospedaba en hoteles de mala muerte para bañarse y comía lo que podía. Solo le importaba tocar sus canciones y despejar su mente.

No quería formar una familia. Tenía sexo ocasionalmente.

Un día tuvo la mala suerte de cruzarse con una pareja de delincuentes que le robaron la moto y la guitarra. En el robo recibió un disparo.

James tocó fondo. Se dió cuenta que debía iniciar una nueva vida otra vez. Volvió a Miami, a vivir en la que había sido la casa de su madre.

Empezó a trabajar como profesor de música en una escuela y daba clases particulares luego del trabajo. Con los años se caso pero no tuvo hijos.
