Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Beginning: LA Priest

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Costumbres of Damas Gratis

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Beginning of LA Priest.

A week ago, we started to recommend songs among a group of friends, the idea is to recommend songs from “semi-unknown” artists that we don't know. In my case, I started snooping in my Spotify playlist to see what songs I had that could be interesting.

The first interesting songs I found were soul songs by James Brown and a few other American country music songs, which I got to know thanks to the influence of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Talking about the influence of music in videogames, the song I will talk about today is one of the ones I recommended to you and it was precisely because of the FIFA 21 videogame that I got to know it.

I remember that I used to spend a lot of time in the game menu when I played Ultimate Team because I used to do Squad Creation Challenges (SBC). I really enjoyed Beginning (LA Priest) and Genius (LSD).

LA Priest is a British artist (former member of Late of the Pier). He currently makes a kind of alternative rock with a mix of electronica. His song Beginning is part of the album GENE which was released in 2020. The song was also part of the soundtrack of the famous FIFA videogame series.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
