I was telling you before that I had an anecdote with this song. Well, you see, I got to know this song thanks to one of my cousins. I remember that he had an old cassette, one of those that you needed to put a pencil in it to be able to run the tape. And there he had the song, among other songs that I don't even remember now. It was funny because the song was in the middle of music that we didn't like and then every time we wanted to listen to it again we put the pencil in it to run it faster. We could run it with an old tape recorder that my uncle had, but unfortunately the motor that does that function was broken, so we had no choice but to do it that way.

We were just kids back then. And we both knew the song because my uncle bought that cassette and gave it to us as a gift. Another funny thing is that we didn't understand a word of the lyrics. We speak Spanish, but the truth is that we didn't care, the rhythm was what we liked.

The lyrics are really not that complicated, it talks about enjoying life, dancing and having a good time. It also talks about having a good time with friends.
