My fear is that I will start releasing NFTs and will get ZERO feedback, as in, not only will they not be purchased, but they will be ignored.
If you publish them only on the Hive blockchain, then they probably will be ignored or overlooked, just like this post and the most of the posts on this blockchain. 17 days since posting, and 0 comments so far.
By the way, I accidentally found your post by searching for brain teasers on Ecency.
Yes I noticed that. Hive is colloquialist corner, if you don't hashtag properly, or even if you do but don't join the right groups, or have the right followers or end up getting a fan base, your posts get ignored no matter how good it is. luckily I published this article a couple other places and I saw how popular it was. it has over 17,000 views on one of the other forums I published on. but thanks for the heads up on that, I'm not publishing any of my nifties on hive. This blockchain is half dead in my opinion. Everything I've tried on here, nothing catches heat and I know how to write I mean I'm not an author but I mean I can write a nice tail and something funny I mean I got more comments on this story on publisher0x and read.cash then I have on all my posts combined on hive. I was able to get some success on steemit, being a so-called nobody, but once the blockchain split is when everything got chaotic. I mean unless there's something I'm missing here I don't know what I'm doing wrong not to get more thumbs up on a decent post cuz I know like I said I published this on publish ox it got 4,000 views in 2 days about 10 people commented and it was trending on the site for like a week.
I didn't read the post, so not sure if it had much with weed to do, I feel the community curators of this network may have not read it either due to it looking like it was irrelevant to the niche. So my advice would be to check out other communities for relevancy. I'm sure there's many of them about longform writing that'll give your content a better chance to be read and curated.

Have any tips for hive or in general?
Not really. I am (and most of the people) are in the same or in similar shoes.
I wrote a post about this: My fear.
