Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to talk about how we can get things set up, but we have to make sure we are in the right mood!

Do Something Else
There are some times when things come far easier and more naturally than others!
Every so often, I get into one of those zones. I am able to hit the keyboard and shit just starts flowing. A lot of it is like a muscle, in a lot of ways. There are lots of other times when what I want to do is write something from the post ideas that I've written down, but the spice just ain't there in those, which is interesting!
I've been going through my post ideas note that I keep, for the random times when a cool idea pops into my head and I don't have a way to write the post at that moment, but store it for later. There are quite a few in the list at this point now which is cool! What is interesting for me, is that I've had some challenges with getting some of those written!
I think there is a lot surrounded mindset with these things. For example, if I want to write a financial post, I have to be in the mood for that. There are plenty of times where I'd rather just write a photography post and if the juices for that hit me the right way, that's just where it goes. I've got a few financial-related posts in the hopper.. but they won't get written until I'm in that specific zone it seems!
I think this is an interesting thing to think about in terms of our brain. When we have things to do but our brain comes in and throws a wrench into it all, it makes me wonder. It reminds me back when I was a runner, and one of the things I constantly read that running is more in your head than it is elsewhere. Your brain will tell you to quit way before it's actually time to quit and I learned this lesson really firmly! I was a decent runner but would frequently get some annoying issues where my mind overtook me and told me to stop even though my body could have gone on a lot longer. It took me a while before I realized what was going on, and even knowing it, it will get the best of you!
This also makes me think that people are in awe of AI this and AI that but at the same time, very little in the mainstream really talks about how freaking POWERFUL and incredible our brains are! We need crazy amounts of electricity, computing power and all that to run an AI model, where the resources of that are enormous. While at the same time, there are lots and lots of people walking around that are utterly brilliant and can take in their surroundings, react and do many tasks at once just eating breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I think the post got a little in the wrong direction from when I started.. but a lot of it is related to how complicated our brains are, and combined with our moods for things!
What about you, have you tried to do something when your brain just refused to cooperate? Let me know in the comments!

It does happen to me sometimes that I'll start a post with an idea or two then somehow find myself somewhere far off from where I initially started exploring other ideas that are only remotely related to the main idea. I think we haven't spent enough time trying to understand this machine we call our brain but there's probably a a number of mechanisms that function better when we let it do its thing instead of us trying to get in the way.
Oh for sure dude! Our brain is insanely complex and we are only JUST learning about some of the aspects of it. I think I heard a year or two ago, they found a section of the brain they never knew existed. It's mixed in the area with the pineal gland and shit, so it's crazy tight and complex in there so it's not difficult to say it was missed, but the problem was that it shrinks way smaller when someone dies and they soak the brain in formaldehyde. I don't recall exactly how they found it, but it's wild nonetheless.
