My eBay selling had taken a fairly large backseat over the last couple of months.
I had been picking up the odd deal, but hadn't really listed anything, but I went over a bit of an uploading rush in the last couple of weeks and I'm happy that a few things sold recently.
I sold 3 Halo sets to one person in Denmark, which was really good, and while I could combine them into one package, the postage was fairly high due to the size and weight.
None the less, it was a good cash injection, and it was something I needed at the time.
This week, I sold a fairly pricy Lego set and another Halo set, which is really good. I'll be getting those two in the post tomorrow. One is going to Germany and one is staying here in Ireland.
These few sales kind of gave me a bit of steam to get stuff uploaded, and now that nearly everything I had available to list is up, I have to get back to building and photographing some sets.
The want to do these things was always there, but when things are slow, it's hard to stay motivated.
Me and Aimee bought a new double pram recently just so we were ready for the new addition, but it ended up posting us €800, which isn't too bad for what we got. Originally, it was going to be €900, but we managed to get a code for a 10% discount.
It was a fair chunk of change to go out in one go, but the couple of sales in the last week or two have pretty much accounted for the loss of money.
I'm going to get some building done tomorrow if I can, and I may take a few photos of the process.
That’s awesome dude I know things like this wax and wane. You have to catch it at the right time sometimes but I’m glad that you’re getting things on track!
