The Netherlands is great in this matter. They have a really advanced cycling culture and habits, we should all learn from them.

On this particular road, no way to widen it; it is full of curves, one side the sea and ravines, and the other side the mountains and more ravines 😅 The solution would be to connect the town with the highway somehow so the cars to go directly there, and leave this road for bikes, but a huge mountain is there in the middle. Very rocky area.
