Random Talks #2: The Last Day of January

Brrrrr, that's my first reaction when I woke up this morning. It was so cold that it took me almost half an hour just to convince myself to take a bath. I never like cold weather, so taking a bath is really a challenge for me during cold mornings. Nevertheless, I ended up finishing it and after that, I went to our campus only to get drenched again on my way to it. I was definitely not in my mood when I arrived in our classroom—plus my classmate immediately told me that we had to answer—only that it was a joke, which I didn't get immediately. I ended up hastily sitting down and getting paper when I noticed they were not doing it. Great! What a great way to start a day!

Like my morning today, this month was also riddled with stuff I find quite annoying. One of those is the time one of my friends asked me something—something like: Are you gay?. Obviously, I answered, "No, hahaha, I'm not". I don't find it that offensive, it's just a little annoying because how can she easily judge me like that? By the way, I was listening to Chappell Roan's songs at that time so I kinda understand why she asked that. I don't know if she has a problem with gay people, but ehhh, would she really mind if I'm one? She knows that I have a lot of anime husbandos and male celebrity crushes so I don't get why she asked that. Anyway, it's not the question that annoyed me, but the fact that she forgot things about me. Maybe I expected different from her, which turned out to be a flop.

Anyway, onto the next one, the experience that I can't forget that also annoyed me is the clearance signing this year. Unlike my first-year experience, this one is something that I didn't see coming. The number of people surprised me because it was crowded at that time. We've been in our line for hours just to get our clearance which I thought would just be natural because there are indeed a lot of enrollees, but when I discovered what's really happening on the front lines, I really got pissed! It turns out some students are inserting and that's the reason why our lines won't move that much.

Things got pretty heated as hours passed by, and the moment where I was almost at the doorway of the interview room, I was really ready to beat into pulp anyone who would try to get in my line. My feet are sore from standing for hours because I can't sit for any minute or else someone will steal my place because I'm more than willing to stay there for hours than to get in the last place of the looong line. Just remembering those hours of standing and getting pissed is stressing..sigh...

Lastly, this one tragic moment happened yesterday. I was writing my anime review when I noticed that 'the space is running out' pop-ups frequently. I got annoyed with it so I checked my files and I noticed something...my SD card is not mounted. I checked my music app, and I was beyond appalled when I saw that it was wiped clean. I immediately tried to mount it but it seemed there was really a problem with either my phone or my SD card.

The whole period of class I was distracted by my SD card dilemma, but thankfully our classes are just half a day so without wasting my time, I went home directly. I tried my old technique of inserting my SD card into another phone, and that's where I discovered that it was corrupted through and through. I tried a lot of things to retrieve the files without deleting them, but unfortunately, it's either I format it or lose forever my SD card. Since I still don't have the means to buy another SD card, I opted for the choice that would save my corrupted SD card. I formatted it and that means letting go of all the stored files in there ahuhuhuhu...and until now I'm kinda regretting that decision.

My January wasn't that bad but I hope those stuff won't happen to me in February. Hopefully...
