RE: A successful plant shopping day.

Your Panthas is beautiful! I love the vibrant color! I have that exact plant and the same color (one fushia and one white) We call them Pentas here, but, they are the same. Mine is growing wonderfully on my porch, I also planted one in the garden. I love them because they grow in any kind of condition, it seems.

I didn't get bougainvillea as I am not sure it will grow here. I lived in Texas and I had them all over, but, perhaps, I should try one. I wonder if I will find one here!

I do love that nursery, what a great find! Your balcony is going to look beautiful! I can hardly wait to see the process of replanting. Maybe next market! :) You know how we love all the plants! How did you select your flowers? Color? Shape? Were you familiar with all the ones you bought? I have never heard of a Madhabilata, what kind of flowers does it have? Good luck with your garden! I can hardly wait to see updated pictures from your balcony! EDIT: I Googled Madhabilata!! What a stunning flower it has! Thank you for sharing your new purchases with us!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

First of all, I'm really sorry for this late reply. I was having some family get together at my home lately and was busy arranging everything.
The plants are growing so we'll after repotting, I'm hopeful they will thrive. They added so much positive vibe to my home.
I have looked up, the Pentas is the correct name of the plant which is locally known as Panthas here. It's also flowering pretty well.
And the best thing was adding Madhobilota to my balcony. The bouquet of flowers looks so beautiful. And the fragrance is so nice. Loved it, blessed to have it.
As I have a small balcony so even if I wanted to I can't have all the plants. I only buy which can grow in small space, takes minimal care, and sun. Also, I like to add different colors of flower plants if I can.
Thanks a lot for asking and showing so much interest. I know how much you love flowers and nature.
Have a wonderful day over there, dear.
