Fridays are always busy because this is the start of the weekend and everyone always seem to be in a haste to get everything they would be needing for their weekend to go well especially those who will be going for parties or those who will be organizing one. It's been over 2 months we visited my mom at her place and while we were there, we all went for some shopping for the upcoming wedding ceremony we had coming up.
So in this post, I would be sharing with you a little of how our shopping went. The first thing we did was to take our backpack for repair at a place close to the house.
The backpack had zip issues and we asked the repairer to change the whole zip. He did quite a good Job and it was quite at a cheap rate considering how well he did his job.
We boarded a vehicle to the market. Since we had plans of what we wanted there, mum took us to the right place where we could get all we needed. Since we were going for a wedding, the plan was to get a shoe.
We saw good pairs of shoes and it was also very affordable and okay. We had to give the shoes to a cobbler to do some little touches here and there to make it last longer.
This is me trying mine on and it was just perfect! I loved how simple and easy it was to wear. Of course I loved the color too.
After getting the major things we needed, we also bought some clothes which we plan to use mainly at home since we hardly went out, hehe.
We couldn't get the bag before going to the market so we planned to drop by the repairer's place to get it but then we got home quite late and we were tired so we went the next day to get it.
That's all for my market experience due to the limited things I could capture but then we got even more things. The market was too busy for me to bring out my phone to take a shot of everything we got.
I was literally warned by my mom to keep my phone if I don't want it to be snatched 😅. I had to just obey her so I don't end up losing my phone because I want to make a blog. I'm at least happy I got to take a shot of a few things and I'm so happy to share it with you.

Hello there, Hope. Hehe. This reminds me of when I was younger, I used to hate going to the market with my mom. She would take forever to shop, comparing prices and examining each item. It was the last place I wanted to be! As I got older, my market visits became even rarer. During my 200 level days in school, I barely set foot in a market, let alone during my first semester of 300 level.
My mom is a bit different though, you know we didn't live with her while growing so we don't have much market experience with her, hehe.
I hate going to the market too, it's too stressful and time consuming 🤦

Yes o, it is really stressful.
Sometimes I just wish I can send someone to go for me and that's why I like buying things in bulk 😃

Awwwn, you know it's so much different being around mum. And trust me when I say you hear the good and the bad side of everything that happens in that environment. I guess it's was fun all the way
