The #marketfriday organised by @dswigle allows us to share cultural ideas. One culture that is often overlooked is our own. The hive community culture.
I've had the pleasure to meet 100's of Hiviens over the years and we do have a lot in common and it's not the pursuit of money. Contrary to what many non hiviens think.
Most notable is the idea that life can be better if we have an ethical approach to our dealings with each other.
Today a group of Hiviens including a few witnesses met in the northern town of Halifax. Most of us had never met before but the conversations were non stop from the get go.

When you see a list of usernames like that above it means very little but when you see real people who each have their story and reasons for being in this space and who have taken the time and effort to get together from all over the world to discuss the future and the now of our blockchain you realise how much we all have in common.
All of us have different skill sets and interests which converge on and benefit Hive's further growth.

Both of us and no doubt many of you are feeling a little exhausted after the last couple of years of Covid19 restrictions and creating content believe it or not takes a lot of work sometimes it just gets to much and we need time to recharge our batteries.

We spent the afternoon sampling sandwiches, cakes, fruits and @c0ff33a's coffees from all over the world and we watched a few batches of coffee beans being roasted in between chatting about blockchain developments.

I have been watching the travel from here. I want to say I hope, but, it isn't looking quite promising for me to cross the pond right now.

I've been filming with the drone all day and got the shots I wanted.
I'm currently sitting in a pub in Hayden Bridge in the northern part of England. I haven't been in a pub in years lol. It's very cool though.
Everything went really well at the meetup. It's so good to see the people behind the usernames.
You always throw the coolest parties in the UK! How fun it is to see everyone! You should have live-streamed it. Wait! Did you? It is so fun to meet after knowing people online for years, and finally putting a face to the name. Yes! Even if you use your picture, it is still different.

Hi Denise sorry for the delay in replying but I've been on the road.
It was a great meetup and the coffee was outstanding. Robert gave us all a bag of his #Hive roasted Brazilian beans and it's aroma is mind blowing 🤯🤯👍
All ethically sourced by the way. @c0ff33a deals directly with the farmers which is brilliant in itself.
That's the way we change the world. One person doing business like this changes the whole process eventually.
More people drinking that coffee spreads the idea faster.

I'm sitting in the YHA car park in Howarth (Bronte country) and just heading off up through the national parks to vindolanda. Weather is looking bad for drone but we'll see how it goes?

I abandoned the trip to Scotland as I was feeling rather exhausted after getting the drone footage from multiple locations.
I made the 6 hour drive home and slept like a log! 😂👍
