Here, shopping malls are still very in popularity. It's a crowded city with minimal recreational opportunity so people go to the mall to have some relaxing time there.

That makes perfect sense when you say that. We have so many opportunities to explore here, one can never cover them all. So the Malls are used only when you must go shopping and you can't get it online.
PS.. I dislike online shopping. I want to touch it! LOL
I know. I hate the crowd but that hate doesn't help me vanish it magically 😅
Especially the malls in our capital, where I live, is always crowded and busy. I try to avoid shopping there.
Also it pushes me to do online shopping more even if I don't want to.
