I almost missed this post, I'm commenting here because I read your comments and I felt the same as Lemouth when I first read the title. That was surprising!

The other thing is, I open a window and chase away flies to get them out, same thing for everything else. Not many spiders around and usually just the super small kind, but when I can't convinve it to get on a paper to move it outside, I just leave it be and ignore it. 😅
