Saludos comunidad aterradora🙋🎃🍬. Continuando la temática Halloween, para este mes, hoy comparto con ustedes un pequeño relato, esperando que les guste.

Dulce aroma

Cada año en víspera de Halloween, mi familia opta por sus confecciones de dulces caseros, para ofertar en la tan esperada noche de brujas.
Deliciosos aromas se combinan, mezclando cada uno de los ingredientes atesorados por mi tío Lucas, que año tras año nos acompaña para celebrarlo.
Después de haber degustado un delicioso bombón de chocolate, decidí romper con la ley de la familia de que él solamente, guardaría el secreto de sus componentes , así que ocultándome en las tupidas y negras cortinas con calabacines pintados, esperé a que todos tomaran la siesta y como de costumbre lo dejaran a él de último en la cocina.
Ya casi vencida por el cansancio de llevar largas horas de pie, y observando que mi tío parado en el centro, no gesticulaba ningún movimiento, estuve a punto de abandonar la misión y fue entonces cuando: ¡Din, don,din,don!,a medida que comenzaban a sonar las doce campanadas de media noche, pude observar como mi tío comenzaba a tornar los ojos blancos, sus uñas y colmillos comenzaban alargarse, su cabello quebradizo comenzaba a caer, mientras su voz cambiando a un tono avejentado exclamaba :
-¿Quieres saber cual es mi ingrediente secreto joven?, ese que tiene ese dulce aroma como el que desprendes.
Un frío inmenso recorrió mi cuerpo dejándome inmóvil y aterrada por mi sed curiosa .
-Pues, es éste.
¡Bhaf!, el estruendo de la cortina súbitamente corrida, dejó ver la espantosa figura de un cuerpo demacrado frente a mi, que sonriendo siniestramente alzando una urna entre sus brazos replicaba:
-¡Polvo de huesos y sesos!, son los ingredientes sobrina, que gracias a tí no estarán agotados para hoy, en la noche de Halloween.

Sweet aroma

Every year on Halloween eve, my family opts for their homemade candy confections, to bid on the long-awaited Halloween.
Delicious aromas are combined, mixing each of the ingredients treasured by my Uncle Lucas, who year after year accompanies us to celebrate.
After having tasted a delicious chocolate bonbon, I decided to break with the family law that he alone would keep the secret of its components, so hiding in the thick and black curtains with painted zucchini, I waited for everyone to take a nap and as usual they left him last in the kitchen.
Already almost overcome by the fatigue of having been standing for long hours, and observing that my uncle standing in the center, did not gesticulate any movement, I was about to leave the mission and that's when: Din, don, din, don!, as the twelve chimes of midnight began to ring, I could observe how my uncle began to turn his eyes white, his nails and fangs began to lengthen, his brittle hair began to fall, while his voice changing to an aged tone exclaimed :
-Do you want to know what my secret ingredient is young?, the one that has that sweet aroma like the one you give off.
An immense cold ran through my body leaving me motionless and terrified by my curious thirst.
-Well, it's this one.
Bhaf!, the noise of the curtain suddenly drawn, revealed the ghastly figure of an emaciated body in front of me, who smiling ominously lifting an urn in his arms replicated:
-Bone and brain dust!, are the niece ingredients, which thanks to you will not be sold out by today, on Halloween night.
