Hello Hivers!
I hope you are in good mood today until the next days to come. It’s been days since I posted my last blog- a poem dedicated to my wife during her 29th birthday. She really keeps the poem until now. It means a lot to me that she treasured my will for her.
Today I’m gonna feature our family travel to Bogo City to celebrate in advance the birthday of our third born. This is usual for us to do this kind of stuff every time there is a birthday event. We often go to San Vicente Parish Church to give thanks and offer prayers to the Almighty for all the blessings that He has given to us particularly another life.
My Birthday Girl
My Aryana
During the morning we really rushed things up just to cope up with time constraint since we planned to travel on the public bus plus the children really wanted to play in Bogo Plaza. We woke up early and I could see that they were all excited. We took a bath, ate hurriedly, clothes up nicely and put everything in order for the travel.
Then we rode onto the public highways using our motorcycle. While riding, the kids are busy talking on what they see in the surroundings. They were laughing while they were talking. Such was a noisy kind of ride all along. Since it was early in the morning, we could feel the gentle breeze of the air, the calmness of the plants and the smiling sun hanging in the beautiful blue sky.
Then we rode on the public bus. The kids still were talking about what they were seeing. They felt nice upon the glance of the green mountains and scenic beauty of each place we passed by. It was a nice ride for the kids.
Then we rode off the bus and went to the church directly. We prayed and gave thanks to the Lord for the gift of life to our birthday girl and to all the blessings we are receiving each day inside the church. Right after, we visited the statue of the Patron Saint Vincent Ferrer and offered our prayers.
Then we went to the candle lighting area to light our candles praying to the God for the goodness of each in the family.
After this way of service to the Lord, I could feel the excitement of the kids of going to the plaza. They dreamed of it long enough. We decided to walk through it since it was just a walking distance from the church. Luckily, I never heard any complaints about walking. But I knew that they are used to walking even at great distance. After all we are living a rural life.
Kids ready for walking.
Glimpse of City of Bogo Children's Playground.
Upon entering the City of Bogo Children’s Playground, I had to sign up for a sort of entrance registration before the kids could play inside. After that, at long last they finally got to play in the plaza. ‘Shoes off and socks on’, they’ve got what they wanted especially our Aryana. She really had fun climbing, sliding and riding along with her Ate and Kuya. Together they experienced a lot of fun and excitement in the plaza featuring the new playground design and materials. We as parents could only observe what they were doing but couldn’t play along with them. But it’s okay for me. I checked for the safety of the venue and facilities and I could say it’s secured.
However, they only got to play for nearly thirty minutes since the playground only caters from six to nine in the morning. It would be a short play for the kids. You could see the reaction of my Aryana when we were requested to go out during the cut-off time below.
However, the fun is not enough if they can’t be with McDonalds. So, we went to McDo to dine in and eat their favorite French fries and chicken. Somehow Aryana has forgotten her trouble with cut-off time in the playground. Eating their favorites was a relieving stuff after their tiresome short play at the plaza.
After eating, we rode off to bus station to go home. In there, we waited not for a very long time for a bus. While waiting, they usually were doing their chitchats while I bought a delicacy known for Bogo City, the pintos, for our grandmother. Then we traveled homebound still on a public bus. Then we rode again with our motorcycle and got home at noontime.
Our family trip though short was a memorable experience for our kids especially Aryana for her birthday advance celebration. While they grow up, they will cherish those moments of bonding and treasure the bond together.
