🐈😹🐾🐱🐯😻 Tale of Two Tales - Chapter 69 - Some Rare Pics of Squeek and The "Intruder" Is Finally Accepted🐈😹🐾🐱🐯😻

Well well well. Queen Squeek has decided that the outside world isn't so bad after all! I'd be lying if I didn't admit that there was a teeny bit of bulling involved in these shots, but it's so rare for her to be so affectionate out in the open! What she doesn't like, for some odd reason, is photos being taken of her, like and old lady 😂😻🐾

Although she is very much @aimeludick 's cat (actually she's my mom's cat, @zakludick has become somewhat of the family cat whisperer and he can do know wrong in their eyes (I'm not sure if feeding the cats chicken off his plate when I'm not looking has anything to do with it!)

Sometimes I feel like chopped liver (which you'd think would be a good thing, considering they're cats). But Lexi still loves her momma and comes for daily cuddles. Although she doesn't put on a show for me, acting like the cutest thing on the planet, rolling around, and striking poses and revealing her belly for scratches from @zakludick, I know she loves me in her own way.

I am her quiet place. Her sanctuary from the madness of the world - and the kids - Lol! But seriously, she is actually extremely empathic, under all that sass, and she comes to me to sit next to me, and on very special occasions, when I am feeling very low, she sits on my tummy, and her weight takes the weight of the world away from me.

And then there's MARMITE. I mentioned him in 🐈😹🐾🐱🐯😻 Tale of Two Tales - Chapter 65- Queen of Hearts.... And Marmite - NOT MY CAT🐈😹🐾🐱🐯😻. He is only about a year and a half old, and is about as aggressive as a bag of potatoes. I think the girls have just given up putting any real effort into keeping him off our premises and their territory. He just climbs right through whatever window he can find - including my bedroom window, and demands petting and helps himself to the girls' food bowls (well, at least someone is eating their leftovers as they demand fresh food every time they are fed like they are royalty😹). He really is such a special kitty though and is full of love and affection. I certainly don't mind harboring a fugitive as he escapes his own personal hell of three girls under 13 that live next door!).

It's taken a lot of time to heal from Chai and Mittens passing so suddenly, but I thik we are ready to adopt another cat. The process is expensive though, and honestly, we are finding it hard to be accepted as suitable furbaby parents due to the busy road we live so close to. Honestly, I don't think it's fair because we live on the most innermost side unit in our complex, far away from the main road, and cats travel wherever they want to, and sometimes great distances - you'd be surprised to find out how many times I've been called by concerned people because they found ne of our cat's collars, like kilometers away. Well, for now, I guess Marmite fills that empty cat shaped hole. And although Chai and Mittens can't be replaced, Marmite is pretty awesome <3
