Hello dear friends of this beautiful Hive Pets community, today while walking through the center I found this giant iguana that is in a square, it is tame and likes to be in these trees.
Today I tried to get a little closer and she stayed still, I must say that it scared me a little since they usually lash their tails hard.
I think it is a male because of its large size and long spikes on its back, its strong claws allow it to hold on tightly.
Hola queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad Hive pets, hoy de paseo por el centro me encontré con esta gigante iguana que esta por una plaza, es mansita y le gusta estar en estos árboles.
Hoy intente acercarme un poco mas y ella se quedó quieta, debo decir que me dio un poco de miedo ya que ellas suelen dar colazos fuertes.
Creo que es un macho por su gran tamaño y puas largas en su espalda, sus fuertes garras le permiten sujetarse fuerte.
They usually jump from trees and the noise they make is loud. One thing they have is that they do not get injured when they fall.
Many children used to bother them but the good thing is that they already have people who watch them and do not let the children mess with them.
They are protected animals and we must help them get ahead, hunting had them in danger of extinction.
Ellas suelen lanzarse de los árboles y el estruendo que hacen es fuerte, algo que tienen es que no se lesionan por la caida.
Muchos niños solian molestarlas pero lo bueno es que ya tienen personas que las vigilan y no dejan que los niños se metan con ellas.
Son animales protegidos y debemos ayudarlos a salir adelante, la caza los tenia en peligro de extinción.

Ellos suelen comerse las frutas y hojas de los árboles, y pasan todo el dia en un buen sitio, solo bajan para cambiarse de lugar.
Espero volverla a encontrar y seguir obteniendo bonitas fotos que le enseñaré a mi hija, aunque quiero que ella misma las conozca, solo ha visto las pequeñas que se la pasan en mi hogar.

It is a simply beautiful specimen. I remember I had one at home, until it simply disappeared. It was wild, because there is a lot of nature here, but at some point I never saw it again, but it was great to have it at home while it was there.
