Poor Buddy is an 8 year old Black Lab who lost his owner last year and now needed a new family to care for him so he wouldn't end up surrendered to a shelter.
His journey started from Las Vegas and we met him down in Kingman where he would travel down to Wickenburg to be united with the foster family that would be caring for him until he could find his forever family.
Of course, being a Lab, Buddy was a big lovable hunk who jumped right into our car and made himself at home for the trip.
Lulu was her usual Miss Grumpy Pants with her I'm the queen attitude and statrw but she quickly warmed up to the big boy and even gave him a lick on the nose.
He loves attention and was happy to settle down next to me in the back seat and soak up some love.
It's amazing just how lovable and adorable Labs are, even at any age, and Nuddy surely is a lovable big boy who just needs to get to a new home with a family to give him lots of food and love.
Buddy was a great companion for the few hours we had together on his rescue ride but like all of these transports time comes for them to move onto the next leg and ours was his second to last so he was soon at his new home.
And after a couple of days he was settling into a new life and hopefully he has many more years of happiness with his family.

I thought that I would share some of my stories of my involvement with transporting/helping out rescue animals (mostly dogs). This is something that I have been doing for the past 7 years or so.
