A Day long journey

in Indiaunited9 months ago

Yesterday I made this 600 kms day long journey to visit 4 of the main temples of my religion. These Temples are all based in different cities which are spread in a distance of 300 kms. Going and coming together makes it a very long journey of 600 kms total.
Once a year I do this trip with my friends in this month of August. This year my schedule was not matching up with others and I could at no cost muss it. I decided to do it myself. Every year we make this trip by road, driving. Since I was alone I decided to take the train. The problem right now is that due to monsoons, the roads are in bad shape and there is heavy traffic jams, specially during the evening return time.
I started my journey early in the morning at 6 and took the train to the furthest point and started from there.

One of the Temples. I love these serene environments they are so peaceful, and you really feel that good strong positive vibe in this place.

One of my friend had arranged a pick up for me from the station and then take me to all the 4 Temples which were in a proximity of total 75 kms from each other. And then from the last stop I again too a train to return back to Mumbai. It was a mixed travel or train and road. Both of them were pleasant. The weather was nice to support the travel. I finished it much before the time I anticipated and by 10 p.m. I was home again.

This one is the main and the most important one

Now tomorrow I have one more overnight travel planned. This one is far, one way distance around 500 kms. I will be again leaving early morning and reach there by afternoon. I have to visit one more Temple in this place, and then my return train is late evening which makes me reach Mumbai next day early morning.

It's going to be hectic but again these are the thongs I enjoy the most. Body gets tired but my mind is fresh and gets energized with the divine energies of these holy places.

Feeling blessed with the blessings of all the divine energies

After finishing the prayers, it was time for a nice sumptuous traditional meal, which is called Salli Chicken. The chicken is prepared in sweet sauce, which is made of apricots and served with thin potatoes sticks. Along with it I ordered Fresh Bombay Ducks. This is one dish that is only available in some parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is super delicious. It's a type of a fish, which is deep fried with marinated spices and coated with rice flour.

By the time I reached home it was 10:30 p.m. and I was exhausted. I any day enjoy road travel but this time the circumstances and the road conditions are not supporting so it was better to do it by train. Lots of travel planned down the line. Next week 2 more places. Those are family visits so that's also going to be fun.

I will keep sharing the pictures and my travel stories. Thank you for reading.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

The divine energies rejuvenate the body and make the journey less tiring. I always long to visit these kind of places and soak in the divine atmosphere that's imprinted in them. The food looks delicious and refreshing :)

These places are like energy boosters, you just feel so calm and relaxed.
The food was tasty :-)

Naina ji it seems you do lots of travelling!! It's good for refreshment.

The temple itself and the surrounding looks beautiful together. It seems there is no rush of people; environment must be tranquil.

The surprising thing is you went there alone!

These days I am only travelling :-) Tomorrow back on the road again to Shirdi :-)

This gives me enough pleasure when I see all your good vibes here .Thank you for sharing this great effort each day.

Thank you

I have never visited the temple but I'm sure I'd visit there someday maybe when I'm free. I know you had a nice time there and that is why you got home quite late. That's a good one!

The thing is that these Temples they do not allow people from other faith. This has been the rule of my culture, there is a lot of debate around it but then some traditions we cannot change

you have a wonderful journey , In which all the places are looking very beautiful. 600 kms is a lot. I find your food very tasty. Thanks for sharing with us

It is a lot but the new Vande Bharat trains are really good and superfast which cuts down the travel time then the usual ones.
