A riveting episode that throws a wrench in the plot by jumping forward in time and throwing babies into the mix. This will be a big topic, I think. We now allow television and computers to babysit our kids, so why wouldn't we permit a being that is capable of performing parental shores better (and safer) than a parent. This would change extended family dynamics as well. We usually rely on our parents and other family members to help with the raising of children, but if AIs can take over the job, safer and more effective, then the need for family help is diminished or made obsolete altogether.

Great tension between mother and son. If there ever arose a situation where a son was threatening my AI girlfriend, then he'll have two minutes to get off my lawn. But I'm a man, so there's that... :)

This is a fun story and can't wait to see how it ends.
