my strength,
my burning manhood,

that found in another lap.
I hid the truth from you,
you knew, in silence
you kept it quiet,

you chose to deceive

You preferred low eyes,
veiled truths,
to deny the obvious,
dodge the daring,
in silence
and in melancholy,

was marked
