I wondered what's next for our heroes on this magical adventure and behold, it's the discovery of the Chalice of Whispering Echoes. The symbolism is that on any journey including one as enchantingly dangerous as Yuki and Ryu's, wisdom (and experience) is the utmost to help unravel the mysteries.

The ancient cave must have look so terrifying at first when they have a look looking at the nature of it and how ancient it might have been.
Its darkness and the unknown tales hidden within its depths can be quite intimidating, creating an atmosphere of mystique and trepidation.
