Hi @romeskie, no doubt September was a very busy month for you and your little one, the important thing was that she managed to advance in the use of the brush and can make beautiful drawings, as for reading, children surprise us with their ability to analyze and interpret, very interesting how she related the passage of the Red Sea and the Jordan River.

Thank you. It is one of the principles in the Charlotte Mason method. All children are actually able to absorb, analyze and think about the things we tell them. I used to think that young kids wouldn't understand complex ideas, but now I know that as long as we present it to them properly, they'll be able to absorb it. Before, I never even thought that a kid would appreciate Shakespeare. Now, we have just finished two of his stories.
