We gotta be better than the Social2.0's out there if we want to keep good people here. All it takes is people making it known that they want a friendlier Hive Blockchain.
So that's what I am attempting to do... Everyone is obsessed with the posts. But the true power is unlocked in the comments! If we can realize this and shift our culture to one that celebrates comments... I know that soooo many people are going to come and stay for that reason alone!
It's also in the comments that I see who the friendly's are... and the unfriendlies too. Comments tell the whole story... and that's the dynamic part of Hive! This is where our culture can evolve and we can UP our game!
By the way... I'm glad that your choosing to highlight the content your already curating Melinda! It's what you care about most... So you totally should! I want people to see how wonderful all the communities are!

Both of the communities that I started have a comment contest along with contests that are based on photos. . In The Shadowhunters community it is *Guess the Shadow" run by @eolianpariah and in the Feathered Friends Community @sofs-su is running the contest Let Our Picture tell Your Story Both contests have super engagement., In the years of running these communities I have come to see that it is the comments that keep people coming back. And receiving staked ARCHON tokens for each comment that they make on each others posts gives everyone an incentive to be engaged!
