The current HIVE supply on the korean Upbit exchange is almost 120M
When the Hive fork happened back in 2020, the amount of HIVE on Upbit was around 20M. So from 20M to 120M in 3.5 years.
At the beginning of 2023 there was around 100M on Upbit and now this number is close to 100M. So a 20M more HIVE on Upbit in 2023. In 2022 the HIVE balance on Upbit was somewhat stagnant, and had its up and downs, but still ended the year with 10M plus. The highest amount of HIVE deposited on Upbit was back in 2021 during the bull market when 40M HIVE was deposited there.
If you are wondering why this is happening its simple market forces, the HIVE price on Upbit has been higher then other exchanges, causing arbitrages and HIVE flowing there.
Perhaps this is a good trend. I know that Koreans invest a lot in cryptocurrencies.
