Que sinifica?

What does it mean?

I am telling you that you are muted. That means that one of the following has happened.

• you received a negative vote from someone
• you posted something using a #tag which does not relate to your post
• you posted in a community and your post does not comply with the rules of the community

If you keep commiting the same error, your mute could become permanent and you could lose your reputation. If that happens, your posts are invisible on the platform.

The logic and solutions

If this is happening after you posted in a community, you should go to that page and read the rules which are on the right side of the community page at the bottom. Make sure you meet the requrements; Number of word, language, standards and preferences of the community owner. That will solve the problem.

If you called a certain person or whale in the #tag section, it is possible that you will get their attention but your post is less than what that person expects. It is like yelling "Fire" and then saying "Just kidding" when the big, red truck shows up. They might be angry.

Other reasons could be what seems to be "low effort" posts; Improper grammar, lack of proper captitalization, pictures that are not cropped, or just one picture with a dictionary description of this amazing insect, or the use of images without proper sourcing.

It is best to use original content, but if you give credit to the person who originally posted the picture then it is not considered stealing.

Recently I found a post with two pictures and there was a link saying Fuente> When I clicked to see who the author was, it only linked to the image of the hive.blog post. (that is enough to receive a negative vote.) Fuente or Image Source needs to take someone to the place where you found the image or person who created that image.
